Learn sustainable skills for the garden or home. You can attend one or both!

Compost/Gardening Club Meetup (9:00am-10:00am): Bring your compost questions, successes, and even your “what went wrong?” stories to share with the group. Then join us for a salad bowl planting activity with special guest speaker Dr. Rachel Harvey, Sustainability Program Manager and UC Master Gardener. It will cover the varieties of greens, basics of gardening, care and harvesting.

Sewing Circle (10:15am-11:15am): Learn the basics of sewing so you can make minor fixes to your clothes. Experienced sewer are welcome to join the sewing circle too!

There is a small fee to cover supplies for both workshops.
